Transitioning to new currency can be a challenge for companies. Before arrival of the new 12-sided £1 coin, we went to Belfast, Northern Ireland, to capture a real world example of how companies, like Translink, prepare for new currency. Producing multiple case studies with the aim to encourage businesses to visit the new £1 pound coin website, ensuring they are prepared for the transition by showing examples of day to day cash handling. The case study videos were designed for the Royal Mint website, sitting alongside the wider new £1 coin campaign. We also created succinct versions, which were more appropriate for a social media audience.
